Storage Meets Sophistication
Kitchen in Ossining, New York
Cabinets: Crystal Cabinets, Frameless, “Brentwood Square” door style in “Designer White” paint
Contractor: Fernando Ortiz, Bright Construction Stone
Architect: Lou DeMasi, Demasi Architects
Appliance Vendor: Lieberts Royal Green
Stone: Romstone Fabrication
Designed for a couple entering a new chapter with their children away at college, this kitchen was thoughtfully reimagined to better support the way they cook and live together. Because both homeowners often cook side by side, functionality and flow were key priorities, along with generous pantry storage to accommodate homemade sauces, spice blends, and everyday essentials.
To create a cleaner, more open feel, dropped decorative ceiling beams were removed, allowing the cabinetry to extend higher for additional storage and more substantial trim detailing. Small appliances were strategically concealed to keep countertops feeling streamlined and uncluttered, while the expansive layout offers plenty of workspace.
The kitchen features Crystal Cabinets frameless construction with the “Brentwood Square” door style in Designer White paint, paired with striking natural stone surfaces that bring movement and texture into the space. The project was completed in collaboration with Contractor Fernando Ortiz of Bright Construction Stone, Architect Lou DeMasi, appliance vendor Lieberts Royal Green, and Romstone Fabrication for the stonework.
