After 26 years in their home, these homeowners were ready for a kitchen that better reflected the way they live today. Through thoughtful interior architectural changes, we redefined the space to improve both functionality and flow.
A new recessed niche was created to house the refrigerator and pantry, openings to the foyer and adjacent family room were relocated, and an existing closet was reduced to make room for additional cabinetry.
The result is a kitchen that feels open, organized, and designed for everyday living, featuring a spacious island with seating for five, significantly increased storage, and a striking built-in bar where a desk once stood. Crystal Cabinets flush inset cabinetry with a classic Shaker door in Linen paint creates a timeless foundation, while the bar and bench in Black paint add depth and contrast to the space.
