For this Wilton, Connecticut kitchen, we maintained the existing layout while fully updating the cabinetry. A rich cherry wood in a “Toasted Rye” finish was selected to preserve the home’s farmhouse character and complement the existing red accents. Appliances were paneled to create a clean, integrated look throughout the space.
Our clients value organization and intentional storage, which guided many of the design decisions. Custom solutions include a corner cabinet with rotating shelves, deep drawers for pots and pans, a built-in wine fridge, and open shelving in the back entryway for everyday accessibility.
A two-tier island anchors the space, designed to encourage gathering when family visits. The addition of a cooktop with a downdraft system allows for easy conversation while cooking, making the kitchen as functional as it is welcoming.
