Kitchen in Rye, New York
This Rye, NY kitchen was a joy to design from start to finish. Our clients brought creative and open-minded energy to this project. Their home was already filled with art, color, and eclectic details, and the goal was clear from the outset: create a kitchen that felt just as expressive and inviting as the rest of the house.
Rather than filling the space with wall cabinets, we opted instead for floating shelves, creating a space that feels lighter and more open, while still offering practical storage for everyday essentials, as well as space to showcase art and personal objects.
Cabinetry by Crystal Cabinets features the Revere door style, combining a soft “Sea Glass” finish with quarter-sawn white oak in a Breezewood finish. This pairing adds warmth, texture, and subtle contrast, reinforcing the layered, collected feel of the space.
Together with Bright Construction Stone and Royal Green Appliances, we created a space that works beautifully for the way our clients live, cook, and gather, while standing confidently as a design statement of its own.
