Modern Makeover

Kitchen, Bathroom, Laundry Room, Mudroom, and Bourbon Room in Rye, New York

Kitchen

In the aftermath of a devastating storm that flooded the area, many homeowners chose to lift their houses and seize the opportunity to redesign. This Rye, New York home was designed in collaboration with Carrie Parker Interiors and Marsella Architects, and it is a modern, spacious haven and a testament to creating beauty amidst adversity.

The kitchen features frameless cabinets with a Biscayne door from Crystal. We used Denim painted cabinets on the island and Designer White painted cabinets on the perimeter of the kitchen, which harmonize with the opulent marble countertops.

Every detail in this kitchen is a testament to upscale living. We included unique elements like a built-in wine fridge, ice maker, Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, a built-in double oven, an extra sink at the coffee station, and chic lighting from Arteriors Home and Currey & Co. The design is a perfect blend of luxury and practicality, creating a comfortable and stylish kitchen.

Bathroom

For this stunning, sunlit primary bath, we used custom red oak cabinets with the Cascade door from Crystal. Lighting was sourced from Visual Comfort.

Laundry Room

A modern home is not complete without a laundry room! In this space, we used white painted, frameless cabinets from Crystal and included a unique drawer base for drying clothes.

Mudroom

A custom built mudroom is key for any busy family! We used white painted, frameless cabinets from Crystal to create the perfect space for storing coats, shoes, sports equipment and more.

Bourbon Room

Our clients have a passion for fine bourbon and wanted a unique room to showcase their favorite bottles and sip on spirits with friends. We used frameless cabinets from Crystal that were painted with a dark grey color called “Iron Range”and paired them with unique copper countertops from Brooks Custom in Mount Kisco. Custom fixtures from Cordero Lighting and furniture from Arhaus complete the design.
