Many
elements combined together to create an “old”
kitchen for this early 20th century home perched high
above the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York. Beaded
Inset construction on antique Pine, wood pegs, cut nails,
and turned wood latches help to achieve this look. The
island is designed to resemble a salvaged work table;
but this one has a sink, exposed copper plumbing, and
seating for 4. Slate countertops, a fireclay farm sink
and exposed brick finish the transformation.
